The stunning 30-bedroom Adler Mountain Lodge in the Dolomites is offering guests a 20% discount on ski passes of three days or more and a 15% discount on all its spa programmes from 11 January to 8 February 2016 – a win-win combination for those couples where one it fanatical about skiing, while the other would prefer to spa. And did we mention that it’s the locals’ favourite time to ski as snow conditions are at their best and the slopes are quieter after the festive season?

During this period, three-day ski passes for the Val Gardena/Alpe di Siusi ski area start from Euros 128, so Euros 102.40 (approx £73) with the Adler discount, with a six-day pass starting from Euros 226 or Euros 180.80 (approx £128) discounted. The setting for both parties could not be better.

Adler Mountain Lodge has ski in/ski out ability thanks to its location right on the piste in Alpe di Siusi (the largest mountain plateau in Europe), where skiers will find 60km of well-groomed slopes (varying in difficulty from easy to challenging) that are serviced by high-tech aerial lifts. Snowboarders are welcome and will appreciate the wide open downhill slopes, as well as the snowboard park.

The hotel’s location in the middle of the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site also makes it a great place for spa lovers to switch off and relax, mesmerised by the stunning panoramic vistas from the hotel. And, should the urge call, there is always the opportunity to join one of the complimentary morning yoga sessions on offer at the hotel or to put on a pair of snowshoes and take a tranquil hike across virgin snow through the trees.
