Thank you for your interest in becoming a CityRoom Contributor.  As the CityRoom reach expands, we are eager to invite new members to join our group of outstanding authors — if you have a passion for writing and want to put your stories in front of millions of people, very quickly… then we want to hear from you.

Our readers are, in general, well-educated, sophisticated and worldly.  Because our readers represent a diverse group of people spanning the globe, because we feel that the most provocative stories come from accessing unique ideas and an unobstructed creative process, our editorial guidelines are somewhat broad.  The best advice we can give on the stylistic approach that we and our associated sites enjoy is this: we adore the art of storytelling, of transcending the experience — making readers feel like they want to learn more, buy that, travel there… you get the idea.

To become a contributor, please submit three writing samples to editors@cityroom.com.

When submitting your writing samples, please also submit your contributor bio. This will expedite the process.

To Submit Your Bio:

• Bio: Microsoft Word document (.doc or .docx) / 250 words, with your name in the saved title.  Example: Contributor-Bio-Your-Name.doc
• Image: JPG attachment (No smaller than 180×210.  We will resize the image to fit our site.)
• Link to your site: we will provide 1 link to an outside site.  Please include at the end of your bio.

Once you have been accepted as a contributor, please keep a link to the CityRoom Submission Guidelines handy for easy submissions.  Because of the volume of submissions we receive, we regret that we cannot respond to every query.  If you are being considered as a regular contributor, we will contact you to discuss specifics.
