September 6, 2010: The most expensive street in Paris, and the number  5most expensive street in the world, according to NY Daily News, will be all glitter and champagne tomorrow evening when the cities fashion professionals will come to mingle with Paris’ wealthiest shoppers, famous socialites, (and the few lucky non-fashionistas who are able to obtain invitations to the event) in all the luxury shops on the avenue Montaigne (Dior, Chanel, Versace,  Valentino, et al.).  This is an annual tradition that resembles high-class “bar hopping,� as socialites go from store to store from 8pm to 11pm, accepting the complimentary champagne and aperitifs, spotting stars, and eyeing the latest clothes and accessories on sale.  CityRoom will cover the event and bring you photo footage this week.
